 CBA Bank

Over new system with CBA bank, Process payment directly from CBA bank website.

MIR-AUS is using the consumer friendly CBA Commweb payment gateway on this site.

You can use any Visa and MasterCard. (they do not have to be CBA issued cards)

The CBA payment gateway means that after electing to purchase on line you are redirected to the CBA web site where you will see the following message before entering your credit card details:-
"Your details will be sent to and processed by The Commonwealth Bank of Australia and will not be disclosed to the merchant."

Your card is validated on the line in absolute security in a matter of seconds.
MIR-AUS never sees or retains your credit card details.
That is between you, your Card Issuer and CBA, thus giving you absolute security.

Browsing Sessions & Session IDs

While browsing our website your session is tracked by a session identifier embedded in the URL. This session identifier is generally visible in your browser's address bar. Your session identifier tracks your basket contents and is also associated with your registration if you are currently logged in. For your security the session identifier is created with a 256bit (32 characters) crypto hash, and also expires after several hours. The chances of anyone guessing a currently active 256-bit session identifier is, therefore, 2^128 (which is a very big number around 38 digits long) - essentially impossible.

To ensure your security, you should never email a URL containing your session ID, and you should certainly never post a URL containing your current session ID on a public forum. Each product page has an "email page link" button for the purpose of generating a link that is not associated with your current session, and will therefore not expire with your session identifier. In addition, for your absolute security, a "Logout Session" link is also provided at the top of the home page (when you are logged in), which allows you to immediately expire your current session so it is no longer accessible.

We do not pass on any of your information to anyone else. We will use your personal information only for the purpose you gave it to us. From time to time we may send you product information (including special offers) in the mail or by email. If at any time in the future you wish to remove your name from our customer list you need only to ask. As required by the Privacy Act you may also check and correct the accuracy of personal details at any time. To do so please contact our Head Office on 1300 213 589
